Ce qui reste quand la peau se détache du corps is a performance and sound show created by artists Sara Létourneau and Chantale Boulianne. For two years, they have been designing and building sound structures and giant instruments that they manipulate and transform on stage: the giant bellows, the living sheet metal, the counterweight bass, the nail-box stepladder, the immense rond-koto…. In a series of sound and physical tableaux enhanced by light, they talk about their bodies, metamorphoses and potential catastrophes.

The mission of the Centre d’Expérimentation Musicale is to develop the creative music scene in the Saguenay region. Since its founding in 1982, the organization has presented hundreds of concerts and interdisciplinary productions. Through its creation, production, dissemination and training activities, the CEM provides creators with professional production and research-creation conditions that foster the renewal of their practices.
