Cocoon is a puppet installation at the heart of which the audience is invited to play. Designed as an inverted castelet, it’s a comforting bubble to share with family and friends. To enter this nest is to give oneself a time of rest, pleasure and exchange.

Sandrine has long been involved in the street through body arts, rhythmic arts and clowning. She designs, builds and animates her puppets as tools for social and community intervention. She scavenges for buried treasures for her assemblages and installations. At an early age, she abandoned the straitjacket of classical music in favor of African folk, body percussion and clowning. Her work focuses on emotions, rhythms and the physical language of characters. Today, in the public arena, her practice is increasingly at the heart of unconventional spaces. His passions: discovery, dialogue, bringing people together, sharing.

His interactive works are mobile and adaptable to multiple contexts. The public can inhabit and manipulate them as they wish. She builds in a spirit of “living together”, sharing in open, democratic spaces, whether rural or urban.
