Inspired by the graphic universe of comic strips and animated films, Lili et les corbeaux tells the story of a meeting between a little girl who has lost her father and a raven left alone with an egg to hatch. This show for young audiences combines different puppetry techniques, such as light table work, shadows and bunraku puppetry. The amalgam of these mediums is integrated into an immersive environment sculpted by video projection and mapping.

Founded in 1996 by Denys Lefebvre and Diane Loiselle, Tenon Mortaise (TM) is a performing arts research and creation company that favors an interdisciplinary approach combining the arts of puppetry and its animated forms, shadow theater, clowning and physical acting, visual and digital arts, and video. Its poetic productions are aimed primarily at young audiences and families, but also at adults. Since its founding, TM has produced and presented over 17 creations in Montreal, Quebec, Ontario and Europe, to over 13,000 spectators of all ages, offered over 600 preparatory workshops in schools and early childhood centers, and met over 7,000 children.
