It’s a musical machine: a grand piano, articulating string puppets, giving life to a “Pantition”. Each note on the keyboard simultaneously activates a movement and a sound. Pantition is a performance in which the scenographic object is used to manipulate the puppet, at the genesis of its movement. Music and puppets are brought to life at the same time by the mechanics of the piano’s hammers.
The stage is set for a haughty Diva who tries to give a concert, but nothing can be done… the inconvenient piano tuner gets involved, and funny situations ensue. Set to a festive jazz melody, the puppet show takes shape in unison with the keyboardists’ performance.
