Luna Morena, an experimental puppetry workshop, was founded in 2001 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, with the aim of promoting research, creation and dissemination of the puppetry arts. For the company, the puppet arts represent a means of communication that appeals to reason, emotion and sensitivity, and can touch human spirituality. Figure theater (puppets, objects, shadows, masks), music, physicality and images complement each other, creating dreamlike worlds and a poetics that seeks to captivate contemplative and sensitive souls.
